Please note that the studio door is closed when class begins. If you are late, unfortunately, you won't be able to join the class. To join a class, please come at least 10 minutes before the scheduled beginning. No pre-registration necessary.

Hatha Flow Yoga | 75 min. This class is a mix of Vinyasa Flow & Hatha yoga which links breath and movement through a creative series of a slow flowing postures (each class is different) that increase strength and flexibility while cultivating mindfulness. Within the flow, poses are held longer for an experience at a deeper level. It's an energising, cleansing and heat building practice for the physically active - this class introduces inversions and more challenging backbends, arm balances and breath work. If you're craving a strong complete practice, then this is for you. We offer variations to make the practice accessible for newer students but knowing the basics is helpful. Level: some experience is recommended.
Yoga Biodinàmico | 75 min. This class is inspired by the cycles of nature. The moon and the seasons of the year have an effect in ourselves, as they have in the rest of living beings of our planet. Adapting the tools that yoga already offers thispractice is designed along the 12 months of the year. Different sequences will be practiced every week, sometimes more flow, sometimes searching for muscular balance or maybe looking for a more introspective state of mind. Yoga Moves | 75 min. This dynamic class combines yoga, natural movement and body weight exercises. The focus is on creating stability, strength, mobility, flexibility and balance in body and mind. If you want to explore and expand your comfort zone and feel the magic beyond its borders then this class is for you. Level: Some experience is recommended, but modifications will be offered.
Soft Yoga | 75 min. This soothing practice focuses on relaxation and rejuvenation at the end of a busy day or busy week. Focus will be on gentle movement and soft stretching to balance energy, clear tension and restore vitality. We'll use a balanced sequence of active poses, still restful poses and guided relaxation to bring a sense of peace and calm to body, breath and mind. Level: No experience necessary.
Yin Yoga | 75 min. This is an all-levels meditative class of calming poses and focus on relaxation and stress reduction. Poses are held for longer allowing the fascia (deep connective tissue) to open. Although not a complicated physical practice, for some it can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses. While stretching, lengthening and breathing into all parts of our body we learn to quiet the mind, practice turning inwards and finding peace and calm - physically and mentally. You will leave relaxed and ready to float through the rest of your day or evening. Level: No experience necessary.

Rocket Yoga | 75 min. This vibrant routine is based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga primary and intermediate series. It's an energetic and invigorating style of yoga that will make you sweat! There are two sequences (Rocket 1 & Rocket 2) and we mostly focus on the Rocket 2 sequences which includes challenging arm balances. Linking movement with breath, this quick and dynamic vinyasa flow practice is designed to wake up the nervous system and feed it precious Prana. You will be encouraged to play with inversions (headstands, handstands etc) and to explore modifications of the classical poses to suit your practice. Qigong: A Path to Radiance | 60 min. Honoring form and nothingness simultaneously allows for deep connection and integration within the body. Being in stillness and slow movement together creates strength and root, a deep sense of groundedness to Self and the world. Qigong, an ancient energy practice from China, allows us to cultivate these qualities through the activation of life force (qi, prana, élan vital) utilizing intention and breath within circular, graceful practices opening a flow of radiance into the physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual bodies. Opening this pathway, allows for centeredness, clarity, relaxation and focus… balancing and harmonizing mind, body and spirit… living radiantly.
This is a six week series that meets on Mondays and Thursdays beginning on January 27 through March 5. Students can purchase a pack for all 12 classes, 6 classes or drop-in, and can join at any time. Therapy in Movement | 75 min. This class is a fusion of physiotherapy, martial arts and yoga - dynamic sessions with a focus on biomechanics and healthy movement, slowing down towards the end of the class allowing for restoration. A play between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Yoga for Cancer| 75 min. Breathing Warriors - Fighting cancer one breath at a time Breathing Warriors is offering FREE “Yoga & Movement” classes for people who are affected by cancer. We welcome those of you who are fighting cancer or are in remission, and also carers and close family members - we know that cancer affects more than just the person who is diagnosed.
My name is Stephen. I am a qualified physiotherapist, yoga instructor and cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 15. Although I have been in remission for close to 25 years, I still experience side effects and fears. I have found Yoga & Movement an amazing way to help with cancer and its many challenging and often debilitating side effects, both physical and mental. Yoga & Movement helps to take back control over one’s own life and body, helping manage stress and anxiety, building physical strength and decreasing pain and fatigue. If you are currently undergoing or have recently completed treatment, consent from your oncologist doctor will be necessary.
All props will be provided – dress comfortably in clothes that allow movement, and bring water. Classes consist of guided breathing exercises, gentle movement and strengthening exercises and yoga asanas (poses). Variations are included for skill level, mobility and general wellbeing. The hardest part of practicing yoga isn’t touching your toes or doing a back bend. The hardest part of yoga is showing up on your mat! It takes courage, determination and dedication to show up. Energising Morning Yoga| 60 min. Start into your weekend with this energising Hatha Yoga class with some Vinyasa elements. This class suitable for all but especially for those looking to begin a Yoga practice or return after a break, as Neil will explain everything in detail. First come, first serve philosophy - no registration or bookings for yoga classes are possible.
We allow maximum 14 students inside the Yoga room. First 14 persons who enter the Yoga Studio receive a mat space.
If you arrive to a class with all 14 spaces already taken, we cannot be made responsible. Please choose another class and come early enough to secure one of our 14 spaces.
